Since they met in the roots music clubs in and around Poole, Alan and Em Poore have shared their love of music with each other and with audiences both in England and overseas. If good humour, genuine enjoyment and good music are on your menu, Time at the Bar fits the bill. With toe-tapping combinations of 60-70's Rock , Celtic Rock and Indie Music, they offer a fast-paced, lively and entertaining evening for young and old alike.

Alan's ready wit, rich vocals and driving guitar work combine with Em's bodhran, penny whistle and harmonies to produce music which sparkles and soars. They play with the same drive and enthusiasm with which they approach everything they do. They clearly love their music and this transmits infectuously to all who hear them.

During an evening with TIme at the Bar you will hear covers from such artists as Jackson Browne, Kirsty McColl, Billy Joel, Jim Croce, Great Big Sea, Mary Chapin Carpenter, the Eagles, Richard Thompson, Emmy Lou Harris, Ewan McColl and Christy Moore, as well as their own music in a similar style.
